Vice City Shops Network is committed to protect integrity of the minors as well as the our company while also required by law to verify age and ID, preventing illegal sales to anyone under the legal age attempting purchase in any item from our catalog listings across all our sales channels.

This policy is  only created to enforce age verifications and to avoid fraud in our community. This is not intended to get any other personal information than the strictly necessary for our operations.  Not Social Security Numbers nor any other confidential details will be requested.

THE POLICY

We have classified this policy ages restrictions enforcement based on the type of products listed in our online storefront as described below:

T21 (Tobacco 21)
 Applicable for any alcohol, cannabis and tobacco related items categories, complying with the Federal law.

A18 (Adults 18)
Applicable to any adults related items categories, and other items category and any or category in our storefront 

We understand it that some are not required ID verification, but in order to allow you to shop with freedom  and avoid interruption or discord, we just verify once when first order is placed when is strictly necessary.

Our age verification process is constant and has in three mandatory levels:.

1. At the user's first visit to our online Storefront, a legal age confirmation will asked to continue with the content of the site. This is not shown in every visit to our online storefront,  it is based on the device used to access and will be prompted once after every amount of days.
2. When a user signs up with a member account, the date of birth will be asked within the form which will be automatically calculated to provide full access to the new member  and enable ordering from our online storefront.
3. During checkout member first order an selfie ID verification will be involved, through an external third-party platform site to just for security and verification reasons.

We are not requiring a match of the name on the ID and name used on the account. These can be different.

This process only must be done once. In some cases we might be unable to verify your age during check-out and will need you to provide alternate information to complete your order.

Not being enough, we have set systematic behavioral rules to detecting and trigging a selfie ID verification at any time while browsing in our online storefront  to avoid fraud and avoid that anybody underAged is using the member account account.

Vice City Shops Network partners with Stripe and AgeChecker.Net, third-party age and ID verification platforms to verify our customers age ensuring we all comply with the FDA and all applicable age regulations regarding Alcohol, Tobacco  and Cannabis Related merchandise sales and to follow the security standards of our company. These third-parties, are an industry leaders in identity verification, and uses multiple compliant and secure databases to verify the information provided with each order. This process has been developed with privacy and security in mind. Sensitive information is neither shared nor accessible. It is our commitment to ensure timely and expedient service, and refusal to utilize these services will result in cancellation of your order.

Vice City Shops Network reserves the right to use third party age verification systems,  reserve the right to ask for identification if necessary. You must be of legal age for the state in which you reside to obtain and use a credit card and to purchase different type of items. In instances in which payment method used is not is not matching with your financial institution, we may require you to provide an electronic Authorization and ID verification or a handwritten letter together with a copy of your ID, these sent via email. 

If proper identification cannot be given in an appropriate amount of time, we will cancel the order at our discretion and report to the issuing financial institution  the misuse of the payment method. Based of the case or factors involved further actions may be taken as described in our PCI Compliant & Data Security policy. All fraudulent orders may be reported to the local authorities within your vicinity. 

 We reserve the right to use third party age verification systems, in accordance with federal law. If necessary, we reserve the right to ask for identification if necessary. You must be of legal smoking age for the state in which you reside to obtain and use a credit card and to purchase electronic cigarette products.
